Girls Aloud start to prepare for reunion tour!
Tuesday 20 December 2011
Cheryl Cole bans the booze for the Girls Aloud Christmas get-together where they will discuss their upcoming tour.
The band, who have taken a much longer than expected break to focus on their solo careers, will reunite in 2012 to celebrate 10 years together.
The five gorgeous girls have taken very different directions with their careers and will re-unite for the tour, even including Nadine Coyle who has remained in the States during their break in attempt to crack America.
Recently Sarah Harding checked into an American rehab Clinic to battle alcohol and depression, while Cheryl Cole has been working with StylistPick in her own range of shoes, Nicola Roberts has been working on her solo singing career and Kimberley Walsh has replaced pregnant Amanda Holden as Princess Fiona in West End’s Shrek the Musical.
Nicola said in a recent interview: “We always discuss doing a ten-year reunion thing. So that's going to be next year.”
“We're definitely going to do something. But it's a whole huge production. Girls Aloud is not just us five, there's, like, us five plus a ridiculous team of 50 who travel with us, it's amazing."
Their Christmas meal will however be alcohol free for recently sober Sarah Harding as the girls discuss their plans for the tour.
A source told The Sun: "Cheryl is going all out. She has already ordered all the food and is determined to cook everything herself.
"She's doing the full works, turkey with all the trimmings, and the lunch table will be laid with crackers and other traditional Christmas decorations.”
"But with Sarah having just left rehab, Cheryl doesn't want to make it into a drunken dinner so isn't planning on having any wine involved.”
We literally can’t wait for the tour!
