Chris Brown splits from Karrueche Tran and releases video expressing his love for Rihanna

Chris Brown has opened up about his romance with Rihanna in a candid new video, where he poses the question ‘is it possible to love two people at the same time?’

The singer confirmed his split from girlfriend Karrueche Tran after a year and a half yesterday, and admitted that his close friendship with the What’s My Name singer was partly to blame.
He said in a statement: ‘I have decided to be single to focus on my career. I love Karrueche very much but I don’t want to see her hurt over my friendship with Rihanna.’
He continued: ‘I’d rather be single allowing us both to be happy in our lives.’
23-year-old Karrueche took to Twitter to confirm the news, simply tweeting:‘Bye baby.’

And since the releasing his statement, Chris Brown has posted footage revealing his anguish over ‘loving two people at the same time.’
The video, entitled ‘The Real Chris Brown’ shows both his relationship with ex Rihanna – who he split from in 2009 after assaulting her and leaving her hospitalised – and model Karrueche.
He says: ‘I’m stressed out…when you share history with somebody, then you tend to fall in love with somebody else, it’s kinda difficult.
‘Is there such thing as loving two people? I don’t know if that’s possible, but for me, I feel like that.’
The video comes after three consecutive nights of partying with Rihanna. The pair were spotted coming out of the same hotel before attending a Jay-Z concert on Wednesday. Pictures were released of the former couple with their arms around each other as they sat in the VIP section.
The pair were first seen together on Monday night, as they partied together at celebrity hotspot Griffin in New York's Meatpacking district.
An eyewitness said the two were 'hugging and kissing, and they went to the back of the club alone together.’
Last month Rihanna admitted to Oprah Winfrey that she still considers Chris to be the 'love of her life' and she made a veiled reference to Brown as she wrote on her Twitter yesterday: 'Ain't nobody bidness..... But mine and my baby!'
