Delta Goodrem speaks about split from Brian

After remaining tight lipped about her time with former Westlife mumber Brian McFadden, Delta Goodrem opens up about their split in 2011.
The 27 year old Aussie singer appears in a gothic style photo shoot for the Australian Vogue. The noir theme is stark contrast to her usual sweet and innocent look.
Although the pop starlet decided to talk openly about her past she still didn’t reveal every last detail. But, she did hint that her time with Brian was difficult.
'There is so much I’d like to say. I was really unhappy and I didn’t know how to get out,' she said. 'I learnt. I got there in the end.'
They issued a joint statement confirming their split, in which they insisted the parting was mutual and amicable.
They said: ‘This decision has been made with a lot of soul searching from both parties with the realisation that they have grown apart.'
McFadden later took to his Twitter page, writing: ‘I love Delta and always will. She is one of God's living angels. I thank her for giving me the best years of my life. Please give us time x.’
The pair met in 2004 when McFadden asked Goodrem to duet with him on the song Almost Here. They seemed like an unlikely couple but stayed together for several years, appearing very much in love.
At the time of meeting he was still married to reality TV star Kerry Katona, the mother of his two children, although they had separated and the song was about their break-up.
Delta briefly touched on her short fling with Nick Jonas, who is 8 years her junior. She reveals it was a rebound affair after her time with Brian but insists she only has 'good things to say about Nick'.
