Denise Welch has given up alcohol for love!

She’s the Loose Woman with a reputation for boozy nights out and flashing her underwear, but Denise Welch has revealed she has quit alcohol with the help of her toyboy, Lincoln Townley.
Denise, 53, quit the booze almost two months ago to focus on her relationship. She said “It’s been quite a tough year and I just feel that I would deal with it better without alcohol.” She continued, “Lincoln has also given up booze because if one of you is drinking it doesn’t work.
“We’re putting our relationship before the bottle and we’ll see how it goes.
“I feel much better in myself because I now wake up without a hangover. But I’m just eating a bit too much now!
Denise began an affair with Lincoln, 39, in April last year. She subsequently separated from husband of 24 years, Tim Healy.
But Denise is keen to stress that she can still have fun, without being inebriated, saying “I don’t want anyone to think I’m not going to be ‘fun Denise’ any more.
“But I’m at a different stage of my life.”
