Donald Trump has unleashed a personal attack on Lord Sugar on twitter.
During the rant, the mogul said he thought he was a better businessman than Lord Sugar and went on to criticise his appearance on The Apprentice, the US version of which Trump fronts.
In the messages, Donald posted 'Unlike you, I own The Apprentice. You were never successful enough...”, he added “without my show you’d be nothing!”.

Donald believes Alan Sugar owes all of his success to the Apprentice which was originally Trump’s show in America. He wrote “"When I made The Apprentice the #1 show in the US, that was a good day for you...... and many others. Drop to your knees, Sugar, and say thank you, Mr. Trump

Lord Sugar didn’t take any of this lying down, hitting back with “You don't own apprentice Mark Burnett does.
Success is measured with what you have in business. I own all my real estate with no bank borrowing how about you big shot?”
Sugar also argued he was more popular with the British people, saying “the British like me not you”, he continued by poking fun at Trumps measly 1.9m followers compared to his 2.5m, claiming it ‘wasn’t good for his ego’.
Alan Sugar is no stranger to twitter spats. he recently exchanged insults with Tulisa, posting “Can you tell me who the hell this Tulisa bird is on X factor - What has she done?” he later followed it up claiming that Tulisa was talking ‘nonsense’ on the show.
Feisty Tulisa responded “Stick to judging on the Apprentice & I’ll stick to what I know MUSIC #itsaNOfromme.”

In the past Alan has also had an ongoing war of words with Piers Morgan, who appeared on the celebrity version of the show. The pair often exchange insults on twitter, Lord Sugar once tweeted Piers “you ungrateful cretin you have been CL every year” toin which Piers replied “Oh cork it up, old man”.
Their recent squabble has seen the two competing for the most twitter followers, Piers smugly tweeted ‘@Lord_Sugar Shugs, you had 130k followers when I came on. I’ve destroyed you in 3ms [months]. Take it like the half-man you are".
Kirstie Allsopp, who also appeared on a celebrity special of the apprentice for Sports relief, has also been a victim of a Twitter row with the entrepreneur. After Kirstie took to twitter to brand Alan’s behaviour on the show ‘shockingly uncharitable’, all hell broke loose.
Alan defended himself referring to Kirstie as a ‘lying cow’, tweeting “@KirstieMAllsopp you are liar don’t tweet lies about me by the way you were the worst celeb ever in celeb apprentice”.
