Elton John calls Madonna a 'fairground stripper'
Monday 06 August 2012

Elton John has launched an expletive-ridden attack on the Queen of Pop Madonna, calling her a “f***ing fairgroundstripper.”
In an interview with Australian news programme Sunday Night, he said: “She’s such a nightmare. Sorry, her career is over. Her tour has been a disaster and it couldn’t happen to a bigger c***.”
The 65-year old tiny dancer singer defended his comments, saying that she has been horrible to Lady Gaga, who is the godmother to his child.
Madonna has previously criticized Gaga for having too many similarities to her earlier record Express Yourself, released in 1989.

Elton went onto say that the 53-year-olds latest record MDNA is “embarrassing” and added: “If Madonna had any common sense she would have made a record like Ray of Light and stayed away from the dance stuff and just been a great pop singer and make great pop records, which she does brilliantly.”
And from the looks of some of her fan’s views on her latest material, Elton could be right about that at least.
Fans have complained that her recent performances have included none of her classic tracks that they know and love, with some shows lasting just 45 minutes, despite the ticket’s hefty price tag.

One particular gig in Vienna ended with fans throwing bottles on stage when Madonna wouldn’t return for an encore. Madonna later branded these individuals “thugs” and claimed they were posing as fans.
