Girls Aloud top Reality TV rich list

Girls Aloud have topped a 'Reality TV Rich List', with combined earnings of £25million.
The girl band, who formed after winning Popstars:The Rivals, were head and shoulders above fellow stars Will Young and Leona Lewis, who had roughly half the group's fortunes.
Big Brother winner-turned-celebrity handyman Craig Phillips was an unexpected addition to the list, and a few Survivor and Castaway (remember them?) rejects also made an impressive post-TV pension pot.
The list, compiled by Current TV, was created after talks with talent agents, journalists, accountants and production companies.
So who made the Top 20?
1) Girls Aloud (Popstars:The Rivals) - £25million
2) Will Young (Pop Idol) - £12.5million
3) Leona Lewis (The X Factor) - £10million
4) Jade Goody (Big Brother) £8million
5) Myleene Klass (Popstars) - £7.5million
6) Gareth Gates (Pop Idol) - £6.5million
7) Paul Potts (Britain's Got Talent) - £5million
8) Craig Phillips (Big Brother) - £5million
9) Lemar (Fame Academy) - £4million
10) Jane McDonald (The Cruise) - £3.5million
11) Liberty X (Popstars) £3million
12) Brian Dowling (Big Brother) £2.5million
13) Ben Fogle (Castaway) - £2million
14) Kym Marsh (Popstars) £1.8million
15) Suzanne Shaw (Popstars) £1.4million
16) Abigail Clancy (Britain's Next Top Model) - £1.25million
17) Charlotte Hobrough (Survivor) - £1.2million
18) Chantelle Houghton (Big Brother) £1million
19) Jonny Gibb (Survivor) - £1million
20) Darius Danesh (Popstars) - £900,000
It's worth noting that only a few - Chantelle Houghton, Abigail Clancy, Paul Potts and Leona Lewis - have achieved high-earning careers in the last few years, implying that the fame and fortune coming from reality TV is getting a bit watered down.
Think about how many leave their respective shows without even a magazine deal, and the results aren't so impressive...

havent even heard of most of them! and girls aloud only won because their earnings are COMBINED. if they were seperately, they probably wouldnt win.
i'd probaly apply for reality tv, something like BGT or xfactor (if i could sing or had a good talent!). i wouldnt go on big bro, no way!

Good luck to them ,if i was in there position i'd milk it for all it's worth,because let's be fare a lot of them are famous for just being on the tele! so if thay can earn a few quid from it while it lasts why not!
Hey Racheal,having a talent would probably help,and if i had one i'd be in the line with you girl lol : )
