Hannah Waterman splits from husband

EastEnders' actress Hannah Waterman yesterday announced her split from husband and fellow cast member Ricky Groves after three years of marriage.
Hannah, who shed over two stone on a new diet regime, reportedly told devastated Ricky that the weight loss has given her new confidence and that their marriage is over on New Year's day.
A spokesman said yesterday: 'Ricky Groves and Hannah Waterman have announced today that after much consideration they have decided to formally separate.
'Both their careers have been hugely successful, but for most of last year their work has kept them apart.'
The couple got engaged in 2005 after meeting on the set of EastEnders and married the following year.

Thats a bit of a lame reason sounds more like an excuse. There has to be more for her to feel that way

This is a real shame but the article does seem to lean the blame more towards Hannah which I think is wrong. It doesnt mention how Ricky was affected by her weight loss. Maybe he found it unsettling. Theres more to this story definately. I hope they can manage to work through things & wish them both the best for the future.

That's a pity, they seemed like a lovely couple! I hadn't even read the reason before I logged onto read the article but while I was waiting for it to come up my immediate thought was "ah now she's lost the weight he gets kicked out as he's no longer good enough for her"! To be honest when I read the reason afterwards I was genuinely shocked, o.k differing schedules for actors is always a problem but if the only reason is her renewed self-confidence and her desire to move up and on away from him it does seem very cold blooded!! Perhaps he doesn't like her skinny who knows but that's just skin deep!
