If like us you’ve been glued to the latest series of the X Factor, you can’t have missed the similarity between a certain floppy haired member of ‘Union J’ and Harry Styles from One Direction.

With his wavy brown locks, George Shelley bears more than a passing resemblance to the heart throb, who also found fame on the show two years ago.

And it seems the pair have already picked up on their similarity after meeting at the live show recently. According to The Sun, Harry, 18, has been texting the youngster to impart fashion and styling advice.

Apparently his main advice to George was: “Never cut your curls” as he believes this is a key part of his look.

An insider told the paper: “Harry sees a lot of himself in George... which is why he told him to never cut his curls as he reckons his hair makes him such a hit with the ladies.”

George is sure to be thrilled with the comparison, especially since the band had the fastest selling record in the US this year.

Union J, who are currently being mentored by Louis Walsh on the show, are being tipped as the next One Direction due to their poppy sound and boyband image.

An insider said: “Harry and George swapped numbers as the two groups are bound to start bumping into each other around the scene.”
