Jools and Jamie welcome new baby boy

After having three daughters, we imagine Jamie Oliver was overjoyed last night when he wife Jools gave birth to a baby boy.

Jamie revealed the new sprog has been named Buddy Oliver and took to his Twitter to share the happy news.

He wrote: “It's a baby boy guys!!! I'm shock, were all very happy, mum was amazing and both are well and happy x4 kids!! what?!

The proud father later posted some gorgeous shots of his new son, writing: “Mr Buddy Oliver .....full name to come from mum....big love joxx'

Earlier this year, the chef had spoken about his hopes for a baby boy to join his three daughters, Poppy Honey, eight, Daisy Boo, seven, and one-year-old Petal.

He said: “'It would be great to have a boy, as I am in a totally oestrogen-filled house. But I really don't mind as long as it's healthy.

Jamie also said that if he and Jules hadn’t been able to conceive a boy naturally, they would have considered adoption.

“We have three beautiful, healthy girls and we cherish them. But I'd be lying if I said it wouldn't be great to have a boy.

“Adoption is such a selfless act and they have a lovely family environment. It's humbling and beautiful to see.

“Jools would like to have another child but there are so many vulnerable orphans out there. Jools and I need to sit down and have a very serious conversation about it.”

Well, we think it’s a wonderfully selfless idea to adopt but considering they are now the proud parents of four (yes FOUR!) children under the age of ten, we’d forgive them for thinking that was enough!
