Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux: ‘We might just elope'

Jennifer Aniston delighted fans last week when it was announced that her actor boyfriend of 15 months, Justin Theroux, had popped the question over an intimate meal to celebrate his 41st birthday.
But while pals say Jennifer, 43, is blissfully happy, they insist the actress isn’t in a rush to get Justin down the aisle.
A source says: “All of Jen’s pals are dying to know what her wedding plans are, but she’s confessed she hasn’t had a chance to think about the big day yet and is in no rush. She joked: ‘Can everybody just let me enjoy being engaged?!’
“Jen has told pals that she has about five different ‘dream’ weddings – including getting married in Cabo, Mexico, where she goes every year. But both her and Justin have agreed not to think about plans for at least a few weeks – first they have an engagement party to throw.”
The proposal was said to have come as a surprise to Jen, who burst into tears when the actor presented her with a stunning emerald-cut diamond ring – rumoured to have a £500,000 price tag – over dinner.
It will be Jennifer’s second marriage, following her 2005 split from husband of five years Brad Pitt, 48, who left her for Angelina Jolie. And, while the former Friends star may have opted for a £1million Malibu wedding with Brad in 2000, pals say that Jennifer – who first met Justin on the set of film Wanderlust in 2010 – has joked she may just elope this time around.
A source says: “Jen and Justin know there’s lots of pressure on them to plan a big wedding, so they’ve started joking that they just want to run away and elope. Justin even sent flowers to her with a card that read: ‘Looking forward to running away with you.’ He sent a message, too, saying: ‘We could even run away today!’”
The source adds: “Jen’s utterly swooning. She knows that, when they plan the big day, it will be special for them. As long as her good friends are there and her dad gives her away again, that’s all she cares about this time.”
