Proud new mother, Jessica Simpson, shared an adorable picture of daughter, Maxwell, with twitter fans.
Maxwell, dressed in an adorable stripy red jumpsuit, has clearly inherited her mother’s fondness for posing, pouting at the camera. Jessica, 31, tweeted “Howdy friends!” alongside the image.
The singer, who gave birth on May 1, shared a snap of her impressive cleavage while pushing Maxwell last week. The star is following a strict exercise and diet regime and has signed a $4 million dollar deal with Weight Watchers. She has vowed to slim down to 130lbs before the end of the year. At the height of her pregnancy she weighed 210 pounds and friends say she is feeling ‘stressed and overwhelmed’ as well as physically exhausted as she tried to look after a 9 week old baby while also working out daily.
Sex and the City star Jennifer Hudson became a spokesperson for the weight loss plan in 2010 and slimmed down from a size 16 to a size 6. Speaking about Jessica’s diet she said “I think she will do awesome. She’s a pro. She knows what she’s doing, for sure.”
Her advice for the star? “Try not to snack with the baby, My baby likes making cakes and when you’re making a cake you always lick the stuff off your fingers. Those things, we don’t realise what we’re taking in.”

“It helps if you write it down,” she added. “Write down what you’re eating, you’ll be far more aware. And be active with the baby. Be active with them and you’ll stay in shape. There’s no workout like running around after a 2-year-old.”
