Jessica Simpson: ‘I’ve tried to marry Eric twice…but he keeps knocking me up!’

Jessica Simpson has admitted that she has tried to marry her beau Eric Johnson on two separate occasions after being engaged for two years, but has fallen pregnant both times.
The reality TV star - who is currently pregnant with her second child – confessed that she hasn’t had the opportunity to walk down the aisle yet, despite setting two different dates.
‘We've had two different wedding dates’ Jessica declared during an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on Tuesday night.
‘But he keeps knocking me up. We're doing it very backwards, I know... I'll just keep my legs crossed, I guess, this time.’
The 32-year-old singer was glowing as she displayed her blossoming figure in a low-cut leopard print dress, which clung to her just-visible baby bump.
‘Apparently it was a part of God's plan for my life’ she said.
‘I was extremely shocked because I was going through a lot of hormonal changes, trying to get back to the old, vibrant Jessica. You know, it was kind of like a one-night stand. And it happened, all over again!’
The star – who is currently the spokesperson for Weight Watchers, and lost 50lbs on the weight loss programme before falling pregnant – hinted that she will be watching what she eats this time round.

The actress gained five stone during her pregnancy with daughter Maxwell after not realising ‘that you could gain that much weight that quickly.’
'I didn't really make any healthy good decisions’ she confessed.
Meanwhile, Jessica – who admitted that motherhood is the ‘best thing’ she’s ever experienced – has a new sitcom up her sleeve.
The programme will be based on her own life, and will be about how that girl deals with [being pregnant] and everything else.’
‘We don’t have a name yet’ she said.
‘We're just now in the process of casting everyone. I will be playing myself but we'll have actors playing Eric and my dad. That'll be funny.’
