Jessie J speaks out!

She’s currently storming the chart with her new single ‘Price Tag’ and has enjoyed unexpected success at the Brits winning the much-coveted Critic’s Choice award.

But 22-year-old Londoner Jessie J is just a normal girl who cannot believe the hype surrounding her, telling More! Magazine – ‘It’s crazy. I buy mags featuring these girls, then suddenly it’s me in them. And those girls are coming to my gigs.'

As with all new celebrities, there is bound to be at least a fragment of propaganda and with Jessie J, the talk is around her sexuality. The pop star, who had a hit with ‘Do It Like A Dude’ has never hidden the fact that she is bisexual and cannot comprehend what all the fuss is about.

Speaking to More! magazine, she said: 'I don’t drink or smoke, so this is what people like to talk about. They say how my sexuality isn’t "exclusive", but I’ve never hidden it - even in the early days. 'I’m not afraid to say I’m very comfortable with who I am and I love who I love.'

With her blunt, short black hair and trademark red lips, Jessie’s unique quality is evident.
I do my own make-up a lot of the time, and I’m very involved in what I wear. I couldn’t be any other way.'

Here at Closer we thing it’s refreshing to have a new pop star who knows their own mind whether she likes to do it as a dude – or a dudette.
