Jo Swash heartbroken over ex Kara Tointon

I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here winner Joe Swash has spoken about his heartbreak over breaking-up with Strictly front-runner Kara Tointon – admitting it’s all his fault.
Talking frankly to the News of the World, Swash said he failed to support Kara during an emotionally dark time, when she felt ‘suicidal’ after leaving Eastenders.
Adding that he “kicks himself everyday” for letting her go and brands himself a “f**king idiot” for not being there for her.
Now he can’t bear to watch as Kara sensuously dances with Russian hunk, Artem Chigvinsev, on Strictly Come Dancing.
Swash, who is currently in Australia filming for I’m a Celebrity.., said: “It hurt so much when I read they might be an item.”
The couple, who met playing brother and sister in Eastenders, split in May after two-years together.
Swash reveals why the couple parted ways, saying: “I was too blind to see what a state she was in.” He failed to notice her darkening mood, despite Kara telling Fabulous magazine that she felt suicidal after acting roles dried up.
Swash continues: “This is how naïve I was. I read that article. The truth is I didn’t even notice.
“That’s how selfish I was. It brought tears to my eyes because that poor girls was on her own.
“She’d done nothing but support me but I wasn’t there for her when it mattered.”
Adding: “I always new I was punching above my weight but I can’t believe I took her for granted.”
Oh dear, it seems Jo is full of regrets regarding Kara. Could there be a reconciliation after she reads his interview? Who knows…
