Joe Calzaghe: I'll punch Alex for Pete

Boxer Joe Calzaghe has offered to help out his friend Peter Andre in the aftermath of his divorce - by beating up Alex Reid.

The 37-year-old sportsman, who was knocked out of Strictly Come Dancing last week, said that he would be happy to take on "that fighter who dresses like a woman" for Peter.

Joe said in a radio interview: "As long as he stays standing up, no kicking allowed. It would be too quick. I'd do that for Peter."

He didn't have any doubts that he'd win the fight, either: "I'd take him out, no problem. I'll be waiting for Peter's phonecall."

Peter revealed yesterday that his panic attacks have returned after seeing Alex with his children, Junior, Harvey and Princess.

Alex has previously refused to allow Pete to talk to the kids on the phone, as well as publicising the fact that Junior called him 'Daddy.'

Now, we'd never advocate violence... but is this a fight you want to see? Should Pete call Joe?

I would love to see that, ha ha! However that would mean another 3 or 4 months of publicity surrounding this tiresome, never ending saga!

haha im with u kendra didnt expect to agree with u either,lol,team joe.
alex is a joke he got with katie to boost his publicity he took advantage of a vulnerable woman goin through a split she didnt want 2 happen.
i just hope katie realises an bins the knob.!
