John Mayer dumps Katy Perry

John Mayer has apparently dumped Katy Perry just a couple of months after their fledging romance began.
The renowned ladies man - who has also dated Jennifer Aniston, Taylor Swift and Jessica Simpson - is said to have split up with the Firework singer after deciding he didn’t want anything serious.
‘John did a real number on Katy,’ a source told a US website.
‘She held off from his advances for the longest time, but he laid on the charm thick and promised her he was a changed man. She eventually gave in, fell head over heels for him and then – yep – once he had made his conquest, he dumped her.’
The budding romance was first reported in June when Katy was seen snogging the 34-year-old rocker during a night out at Soho House in West Hollywood. The pair have since been spotted in a number of intimate clinches, with observers revealing that they have been ‘all over each other’ during nights out.
Close friends of the singer Katy were said to be worried about her falling for the charms of the badboy so shortly after her failed marriage to Russell Brand, which ended in December 2011 after 14 months.
A source said: “She’s really upset about it.
"She is making it seem like it wasn’t serious with John, but she is hurt.”
