Johnny & Vanessa had blazing rows before split

The relationship between Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis broke down after the French actress grew resentful of her partners’ success, a US magazine reports.
The famously private pair, who never married but have two children, are said to have called it quits in 2010, but decided not to announce it.
A sourcetells the US mag that despite initially advising Depp to take on more mainstream roles such as Pirates of the Caribbean, Vanessa, 39, grew unhappy and felt particularly resentful as her career flagged.
The source claimed 'Vanessa started to feel like she'd sacrificed her career for his. Nothing Johnny did was ever good enough for Vanessa. When he was working, she wasn't happy and when he wasn't working, he was called a slob for not doing enough for the kids and her family.'
'They'd have blazing fights,' says the friend. 'Vanessa would take her frustrations out on him.' And he 'started to drink heavily.'
It was Vanessa who chose to pull the plug in 2010, claims the friend, with Johnny devastated by the decision. They decided not to announce it for the sake of the children, and making sure their lives were not affected.
Depp, 49, has reportedly begun dating his Rum Diary costar, Amber Heard, 26. 'They are 100 percent dating,' a source revealed. 'He treats her really well.'
