Jordan: ‘I need to be alone for a while’

Jordan and Peter Andre were briefly reunited last week after her son Harvey was rushed to hospital with suspected swine flu.

But while Jordan secretly hoped their meeting – their first in almost four months – might signal a fresh start for the pair, whose divorce came through in October, she was left distraught when Pete gave her the cold shoulder.

A source says: “When Jordan heard Pete was on his way to the hospital, she immediately went to freshen up. She thought he would run into her arms and that they could bond over their concern for Harvey.

“But when he got there, he hardly looked at her and made no attempt to comfort her. Instead he spoke to the doctors to see what the situation was.”

Harvey, eight, was taken to East Surrey Hospital in Redhill last week after falling ill at Jordan’s Surrey home, where he was being looked after by Jordan’s mum Amy and a nanny. Jordan, 31, rushed back from a book signing and cancelled other appearances.

She texted Pete to let him know about the crisis and he immediately rushed to disabled Harvey’s bedside.

A source says: “Harvey wasn’t eating or drinking and was really poorly. Because of his conditions [he has septo optic dysplasia and autism] he can get sick very quickly so Jordan was in a terrible panic.”

Harvey was suffering a high temperature and breathing difficulties and despite being discharged on Thursday, doctors were keeping a close eye on him.

Pals say Jordan – whose four-month relationship with cross-dressing cage fighter Alex Reid is said to be on the rocks – was shocked that Pete seemed so “cold” towards her.

The source adds: “Jordan’s distraught because she knows she can never get Pete back. She believed this might break the ice between them. She said afterwards: ‘Pete obviously doesn’t give two sh*ts about me!’ I feel really, really sad – I need to be alone for a while to get my head around it all.”

Insiders say Pete, 37, is determined to always be there for Harvey – whose real father is Dwight Yorke – as well as his two children with Jordan, Junior, four, and Princess, two.

A source said: “Pete was all teary when he saw Harvey. He didn’t want any of Jordan’s arguments or dramas. He feels like he’s Harvey’s dad and wants to reassure him that everything will be OK.”

Last week Pete revealed that Jordan had been forced to back track over claims he only wanted to see Harvey twice a week. Pete said: “I just wish she’d stop lying about stuff and leave me alone.”

Harvey has just come out of Hospital and she is going into Jungle AGAIN - what this woman will do for publicity and those poor kids left without her again. Don't hate her but really think she needs to stay out of limelight for a while and spend some time with kids.

Apparently, Katie apologised to Peter for all the nasty things she had said in the press due to Pete rushing straight to hospital for Harvey. However, we don't know the truth.
Katie doesn't seem to be helping herself much thesedays but girls, surely you remember your first broken heart and you perhaps acted a little childish because you dont know how to deal with it any other way. Can you honestly say that you've been the most mature adult after a break up? not said one bad word agaisnt your ex? I think Katie is the same way.. she's hurt and I dont think she knows what to do with herself.. but she won't show it!
I don't think we should pass judgement so quickly. It's their business.
Personally I wish people, magazines and newspapers would leave this alone now.. do these two people really deserve all this attention?

Re: Olivia.S.R "remember your FIRST broken heart ????" are you talking about the same person? She has had a zillion fellas. She is only upset at her own loss. She has now realised what a good fella Pete is, It's a pity she didn't realise it at the time. He was, and is, way too good for her.

I'm a celeb is my most favourite program. If she returns I will be DEEPLY disappointed. My only conciliation is hopefully the creepy crawlies will bite her.

P.S. If you want to be on your own, you don't usually confine yourself with several celebs for a few weeks in a jungle, while millions of people are watching you on TV. She is just trying to boost her ratings, but it just will NOT work. She is sad.

THIS IS PART OF KATES CAREER-HER SON SEEMS TO BE OK NOW AND IS LEFT WITH FAMILY ONE OF WHOM IS KATES MOM WHO HARVEY IS VERY CLOSE TO..pete is being childish as no -matter what that is the mother of his children he keeps saying that he doesnt want his children to see anything negative about them when they grow up-IGNORING THEIR MOM DAILY IS REALLY NICE WORK PETE
she has every right to go in and boost her profile-with the negative backlash she recieves daily WHO CAN BLAME HER
she allegedly apologised to pete and is trying to put things right in her career AND SHE NOW NEEDS TO BE GIVEN THE CHANCE TO DO SO....if some will jus let it drop

I think that katie has made some really big mistakes since the split and as we all know the press have a habit of twisting everything you say. She has a broken heart. It takes 2, If you watched their show you would see that pete had a habit of winding her up, big mistake when your with someone like katie who has a short fuse, which he knew. I think she needs to get rid of Alex and focus on her family and career i wish her and pete all the luck in the world and hopefully one day they will be able to spend some time together as friends but until kaite can get over him this wont happen
