Jordan to play 'busty chav' on Benidorm

We didn't have Katie Price down as the sort who likes to poke fun at herself, but clearly we misjudged the glamour model as she is set to appear in ITV1's Benidorm - playing a 'completely chavvy Brit abroad'.

The 32-year-old has made no secret of her acting ambitions in the past and Benidorm writer Derren Litten thinks she is the perfect fit for the award-winning comedy drama.

Set in the popular Spanish holiday location, the programme is based around the world of package holidays and the stereotypes of Brits abroad who struggle to adapt to the foreign culture.

Litten said: "I’ve always wanted to work with Katie, so we’ve been in touch with her people and offered her a role playing a completely chavvy Brit abroad, getting them out for the lads and lying by the pool. She probably won’t have to do too much acting. It will be sunbathing and bikini action."

Not much acting, eh? Just as well, he he. It is not clear whether KP's 'actor' husband Alex Reid will also make an appearance, but we are sure that the mum-of-three will send ratings through the roof.

First she torture us with her singing and now shes planning to torture us with her acting, definitly won't be watching.

what happened to her supposedly doin Neighbours too??? WHATEVER!!!!!! and if she does any these programmes, I certainly will not watch!!!!!!.....or in fact maybe just for the cringe factor like Teampete just to get a good laugh at her!!!!!!!

My good God - to say those on here who profess to "hate" Katie, really are not doing a good job of hiding their insane jealousy of her - and when you're jealous of someone, it means you wish you were either like them, or had what they have lol!

Katie's a pretty girl, even though it's as clear as the nose on any ones face that she doesn't think so, she's successful, and she's down to earth!

I can't wait to watch Benidorm with her in it!!!!

Wouldn't watch Benidorm with or without her but more so if she appeared in it lol!! Her where did I leave my braincell, thick comments, chavvy clothes, chavvy lifestyle won't be hard for her to act out lol!!

emerald? Please - grow up! Only children (or someone with a serious personality disorder) resorts to "personal" insults or attacks.

I bet Katie cracks up laughing at bitter jealous comments such as yours - that is while she's driving in one of her gorgeous cars all the way to the bank lmao!
