‘Give me a baby before Alex and Chantelle!’

She’s made no secret of her desire to expand her family. But pals say broody Jordan is now hell-bent on conceiving a child with her toyboy Leandro Penna, after hearing that her ex Alex Reid is ready to start a family with his new girlfriend Chantelle Houghton.
Insiders say Jordan – mum to Harvey, nine, Junior, six, and Princess, four – flew into a jealous rage after Alex announced he’s ready to marry and have kids with Chantelle, 28 – who recently admitted she only has three years left to conceive through IVF due to a low egg count.
Last week, cage fighter Alex – who went through two failed IVF attempts with Jordan after trying for a baby with her for eight months – said of his plans with reality star Chantelle: “In our hearts we both feel ready for kids. It would be a natural thing for us to have children together.”
Now pals say Jordan – who’s suffered two miscarriages in the past – has told Leandro she wants to be pregnant before Alex becomes a dad for the first time.
A source says: “Jordan was furious when she heard Alex was planning to have a baby with Chantelle after their own struggle trying to conceive.
“She’s annoyed anyway, as she’s convinced Alex is only making money and getting publicity on the back of their failed marriage. She’s now even more determined to conceive and has told Leandro: ‘Give me a baby before Chantelle and Alex!’
“She used to taunt Alex, saying he was ‘firing blanks,’ so now she’s tormented by the thought that if he has a baby first, he’ll have one up on her.”
After marrying Alex in a quickie Las Vegas wedding in February 2010, Jordan – real name Katie Price – said she was dying to be “Reidinated” and was pictured a month later visiting a London fertility clinic.
But they struggled to conceive and their marriage ended this January, with Jordan blaming “deep rooted” problems and Alex’s fascination with “life in the media eye.”
After meeting Leandro, 25, at Elton John’s Oscar’s party just a month later, Jordan made clear her intentions to have a baby with him, telling friends: “I’ve found my next sperm donor!”
And in May, when Jordan, 33, was asked whether she’d discussed babies with Leandro – who already has a three-year-old daughter, Sofia – she replied: “Oh definitely! Some little chicos.”
But insiders say Argentinian Leandro – who speaks little English – isn’t sure about having a child with her as their relationship is on shaky ground. A pal says: “He’s reluctant to become a dad again as he doesn’t see the relationship as stable.”
But pals claim that despite her relationship troubles, Jordan is still determined to try for a baby.
A source says: “She thinks that, deep down, Leo might not be for keeps – but that doesn’t seem to be deterring her. Even if she has a baby with him, she knows she could handle the situation if they were to split. After all – she’s done it before.”
And in another twist, a source reveals Jordan has been texting Alex recently – and some pals believe it’s a bid to meddle in his life.
A source says: “Jordan can’t help stirring things up – her texts have been ranging from friendly to not so nice. In one message she told Alex he looked good in some pictures she’d seen of him – but then, in another, she accused him of cashing in on the back of her.
“Chantelle saw some of the messages and wasn’t happy. She’s sick of being in his famous ex’s shadow.”
