Jordan's new claims to launch legal battle?

Uh-oh... Seems like the Andre camp have finally had enough of Jordan's constant sniping and allegations.

The glamour model's former manager, Claire Powell, spoke out last night after Jordan had hinted - rather unsubtly - that Pete may have cheated on her with the woman who helped her build the successful Katie Price brand.

Claire, who has been engaged to her business partner Neville Hendricks for two years, is said to be furious over the false allegations.

She said: "This is a total lie. I'm seeing my lawyers now. No one can take what she says seriously."

Jordan had initially made the comment about Pete sleeping with Claire on The Graham Norton Show, but they were edited out by the BBC for legal reason.

But the glamour model made similar accusations in an interview this week, saying that she felt like 'Pete was married to two women, Claire and me.' and that she partly blamed Claire for the breakdown of her relationship.

Jordan and Peter's simmering feud seems to have reached fever-pitch as they are waiting for the decree absolute, which will officially dissolve their marriage, to be granted in High Court.

But experts are worried that it’s Jordan and Pete’s children who are likely to suffer the most after pals of Jordan have revealed that Harvey, eight, Junior, four, and Princess, two, are being used as “pawns” in the bust-up.

A source reveals: “The kids are really confused – they’re picking up on the rowing and the fact there’s so much bad feeling between their parents. Harvey’s been playing up as a result, and Junior says things like ‘Daddy doesn’t like Alex.’ Princess even asked if her daddy could come for tea.

“Junior often cries whenever he has to leave Pete’s house, and is upset that his daddy doesn’t go to his school events. Kate always takes Alex, so Pete doesn’t get to join in. Harvey doesn’t get to see Pete all that much and always asks for him.”

Psychologist Dr Susan Marchant Haycox warns that the children could suffer serious long-term emotional damage from such behaviour.

She says: “All this quarrelling, especially in public and in front of the kids, has the potential to cause real damage. Seeing your family break down like this is bad enough, but the kids will be picking up on the bitterness between their parents. They’ll be feeling insecure, which can lead to self-esteem issues in later life.”

She adds: “Imagine what it will be like growing up and reading all this. I really feel for those children. They should be keeping this private.”

However, insiders say it’s unlikely the pair – whose divorce was due to be finalised last week but was held up
by custody issues – will put aside their feuding.

A source says: “It’s become so petty and the kids are the ones in the middle. She’s always asking what Pete’s up to, and Pete does the same. He fishes around for info on Alex from Junior. It’s awful.”

A pal adds: “We just wish they could both learn to be civil for the children’s sake.”
