Justin Bieber

Justin Bieber: 'Follow your dreams'

Friday 18 February 2011

Leaving the cinema at the O2 arena, I now feel like I know all there is to know about teen sensation Justin Bieber - and I love him all the more for it!

For Bieber fans, this film will propell them into the world of their hero and how he came to be one of the most talked-about teens of this generation. Only two weeks away from his 17th birthday the Baby singer has already achieved worldwide fame, and naturally, his own loyal following.

Never Say Never follows Justin as a transforms from a toddler learning to play the drums to the heart-throb selling out Madison Square Garden that he is today.

Half biography, half concert, Never Say Never gives us an insight into the otherwise unknown private life of one of the worlds most famous singers. Beginning with the realisation that he has made the big time by selling out the New York venue, we then travel back in time to Justin's childhood, where it all began.

Although, to any of us, having our baby photo's sprawled across the big screen is a living nightmare, Justin doesn't seem to mind that much:

‘I don’t hate it’ claimed Justin at his press conference at the Four Seasons Hotel

Well, we're sure your fans don't mind all that much either Just! That baby face is all too cute!

Although the 16-year-old superstar is something of a heartthrob to girls the world over, he admits he still gets bouts of insecurity.

Speaking about being in 3D he said:

‘It was cool seeing myself so big, but I was a little self conscious by the fact your face is so big, you can see everything.’

Hmm...Again, not so much of a problem of your Beliebers!

Never Say Never includes interviews from fans outside Justin’s concerts, and so - as you might have expected - be prepared for constant screaming throughout the film. Banners, T Shirts, face paint - these fans do it all for their hero.

He even revealed that a crazed mother got a tattoo of a DJ’s face on her back in a bid to win tickets to meet him. Wowzers.

Justin loves his fans though, even the crazy ones it would seem!

‘They are the ones that support me and help me to be here, and BTW there is no cure to Bieber Fever.’

No, it doesn't seem that there is! A lot of Bieber fever was apparent outside The O2 in London, yesterday ahead of the premiere. We walked past the venue at half ten where girls were already braving the cold and queuing outside, hoping to catch a glimpse of their idol.

Learning of the gathering outside The O2 Justin said: ‘Thank you for waiting and camping out, being so supportive for going in and buying tickets for my movie and just for being so cool.’ Ahh! Adorable!

And with a final message to his fans, or indeed anyone with a dream, the 16-year-old said: ‘Any goal you have you just have to set it and just never give up and always just make sure you always follow your dreams.’

This is a must see film for any Justin Bieber fan. With an access all areas view into how the Baby singer made it to the top through videos on Youtube following his own dream, this is an amazing story of someone so young reaching his dream so quickly.

Never Say Never is out in cinemas on Friday 18th February.
