Kate and Wills: One year on

The biggest wedding of 2011 took place nearly one year ago, and we’re still revelling in the sheer delight of it every time we see the beautiful royal couple together.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, as Prince William and Kate Middleton formally came to be known post-marriage, have successfully sailed through the first year of marriage. Spending every moment of their lives in the public spotlight, the pressure has definitely been on!
Well, Wills is a pro at royal duties, but all eyes were on his pretty wife and how she would take up her new role. We think the future queen did brilliantly!
From topping fashion charts everywhere to causing online shopping frenzies, and major sell-outs every time she made a public appearance. Embracing the high street unlike the royals before her, confidently attending and winning the hearts of everyone she met at solo public engagements, and just generally looking beautiful; Kate has definitely fulfilled the ‘princess dream’ every girl harbours!
Although the official one-year anniversary is on April 29, as with anything connected to the world’s favourite royal family, the celebrations start in advance! We expect a flurry of street party’s this weekend similar to the royal wedding celebrations, last year.
We’ll be joining in, no doubt!
