Kate Middleton and Prince William kiss and cuddle as they watch the Olympics

We all cooed over that balcony kiss, but not since the Royal Wedding have we seen such public displays of affection from the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. The royal couple broke from tradition by embracing in a hug as they celebrated Team GB cyclist Sir Chris Hoy winning his 5th Olympic gold medal yesterday.

They were sat with other VIP guests including David Cameron, who joined the pair in their second group Mexican wave of the day; the first at Andy Murray’s quarter final tennis match. And if two Mexican waves weren’t enough to win the crowds over, William was pictured high-fiving the Prime Minister on a number of occasions.

In fact, Kate and Wills have been spotted in full spirit at so many Olympic events they could quite possibly win the gold for Olympics’ biggest fans.
Since the Games started on Saturday the two have been guest of honour at the equestrian events for two days running. The Prince then went on to visit Wembley to watch Team GB play football, as well as joining brother Harry at the rowing event in day five. The married couple even found time to visit the athletes in the Olympic Village.
