'I'll probably get married seven times!'

Tuesday 08 May 2012

She may be hoping it’s third time lucky as she announced her engagement last week, but pals say Jordan and fiancé Leandro Penna are already clashing over plans for the big day.

The pair flew to Johannesburg in South Africa to celebrate their engagement after Jordan thanked her Twitter fans for their support.

And while family and friends weren’t too surprised when she announced her wedding plans
– despite the fact the couple only got back together officially six weeks ago – they’re worried it could ultimately end badly.

With two failed marriages behind her, Jordan has told pals she won’t be “splashing out on a wedding again” and is considering asking Leandro to sign a pre-nup to protect her £30million empire.

A friend tells Closer: “The truth is, friends are already questioning how long the marriage will last. They’ve told her she could be heading for another disaster, but there’s no point trying to talk sense to her. She’s in love with being in love.”

But it seems Jordan may also have her doubts about whether this marriage will last.

She told pals: “Some days, I think: ‘Do you really love me?’ about Leo. Every man I’ve loved, we end up hating each other. I get bored. Nothing’s forever. I’ve been betrayed before, so I will never totally trust any man.”

Leandro, 26, proposed to Jordan at Easter, presenting her with a pink and white diamond ring, which she tells friends is worth £100,000 – but he’s not happy with her ideas for the planned nuptials.

A source says: “Jordan says this third wedding will be far from lavish. She even wants to tie up the wedding in a magazine deal for over £1million.”

And Jordan has also told pals: “I’m sick of wedding dresses, so I’ll walk down the aisle in a bikini!”

An insider reveals: “She’s talking about having the wedding in the Maldives. But Leandro wants a traditional religious service. He insists that the main wedding should be in Argentina, as his friends and family can’t afford to fly out to the Maldives.

“During one row last week, Jordan snapped back: ‘I will fly out your mum, dad and daughter –the rest can pay for themselves.’”

Leandro has a three-year-old daughter, Sofia, from a relationship with an ex from college, and Jordan is saying she wants her to be a bridesmaid alongside her daughter Princess, four – Jordan is also mum to Harvey, nine, and Junior, six.

Our source says: “Leandro wants a traditional Catholic service and has even suggested that Jordan converts. He’s worried his family could be concerned if Jordan doesn’t take Catholicism seriously.

“Plus, he’s marrying for the first time, so he doesn’t want a cut-price wedding.”

But pals say the couple, who got together in LA last year, but split after six months only to reunite in January, just can’t seem to agree on anything.

When they first got together, Jordan revealed Leandro “couldn’t speak a word of English” and the pair communicated through Google Translate on their mobiles. However, Jordan now claims Leandro’s English has improved after lessons.

A pal says: “Only now is Leandro able to speak English properly. They don’t seem to have much of a foundation for a relationship, let alone a marriage. They row a lot and sometimes don’t have a clue what the other one is talking about. Jordan also swears she’ll never trust men again after her two divorces.”

It was only in March that Jordan – real name Katie Price – finalised her divorce from second husband Alex Reid, to whom she was married for 11 months, and she shelled out an undisclosed amount to first husband Peter Andre after their 2009 divorce.

A pal says: “Jordan’s considering asking Leandro to sign a pre-nup as she doesn’t want to part with her cash again, which is not the way a newly engaged couple should be thinking.”

Last July, Jordan – who is set to dance in the Argentinian version of Strictly Come Dancing alongside Leandro –
said: “I’ll probably have more husbands, about 12, I expect!”

A pal adds: “Jordan jokes that if she’s on husband three at this age, she’ll probably have at least seven husbands!”

As Closer has reported in recent months, Jordan’s keen to marry soon so she can start a family with Leo, having wanted another child for the last year. The source adds: “She wants to get married soon as she’s dreaming about having twins with Leandro.”

Why get married again? Get some therapy for your trust issues before nailing another man to your cross! When I say man, I use the term loosely ...( and with a little sarcasm)
