Angry Jordan: ‘I’ll mentor Rylan – Nicole has let him down!’

Angry jordan has waded into the X Factor scandal surrounding Rylan Clark – blaming his mentor Nicole Scherzinger for not supporting him.
The former glamour model, 34 – who’d visited pal Rylan twice at London’s Corinthia hotel, where the contestants have been holed up – has told pals she’s angry with the lack of help he’s received from Nicole and blasted: “I’ll be his new mentor!”
And insiders say Essex boy Rylan – who met Jordan last year when he came runner-up in her talent show Signed By Katie Price – has been telling pals she’s his “mother figure.”
A source says: “Jordan’s often in contact with Rylan over the phone and has been telling friends that she’s his new mentor. She’s slammed into Nicole, saying she’s been having too much fun in London and should have been spending more time with her contestants.”
Rylan, 23, received death threats and homophobic abuse on Twitter after he was controversially saved during the first live show. He avoided the chop after judge Louis Walsh appeared to change his mind during the vote between Rylan and Carolynne Poole and decided to go to deadlock, resulting in Carolynne going home.
A source says: “Jordan wants to make Rylan a household name and she’s disgusted with the way she feels he’s being victimised. She even bragged to pals: ‘I should be a judge on The X Factor – my friend Simon Cowell knows I can do it.’”
Jordan wore a “Team Rylan” T-shirt the day before the first live show – and showed she was backing him on the night by Tweeting: “Please vote for @RylanClark on x factor tonight his my gorgeous boy go rylan wooo x.”
A source says: “Rylan jokes that Jordan is his ‘showbiz sugar mummy.’ He thinks they’re kindred spirits because they’ve both been misunderstood by the public. She’s been going to the live shows to give him her backing and has been saying that he’s like a ‘baby brother’ to her.”
The source adds that Jordan – who was spotted pulling down her jumper to hide her stomach amid ongoing pregnancy speculation as she visited Rylan last week – has big plans to make the eccentric singer a star.
The source reveals: “She wants to sign Rylan to her management, and for him to make an appearance on her reality show and become a face of her fashion line. She also wants to organise a solo singing tour for him. She thinks she could start a ‘Rylan Empire.’”
She even told pals – referring to her ex-husbands Peter Andre and Alex Reid: “I made Pete, I made Alex and now I can make Rylan.”
Meanwhile, Gary Barlow, 41, and Louis, 60, still haven’t healed their feud after Louis’ decision meant that Gary’s act, Carolynne left the competition.
A source says: “Gary and Louis went out for dinner with Nicole and Tulisa Contostavlos in an attempt to make amends, but they sat at opposite ends of the table and hardly spoke all night.
“Gary kept joking about Louis to the others, saying he was ‘clueless’ and was only on the show because Simon protects him as one of his best mates.
“It’s clear Gary’s not happy and he’s threatened to quit the show. Everyone’s on tenterhooks.”
