Kerry apologises for TV shocker

Newly transformed Kerry Katona has made a 'heartfelt' public apology after a shocking documentary that showed the disgraced reality TV star's chaotic family when Kerry was  at her lowest point.

Filmed this January, Kerry And Me aired last week and touched a nerve with viewers due to its intimate, yet uncomfortable to watch scenes that detail Kerry's emotional instabilities and shambolic relationship with Mark Croft.

A lot of you, dear readers, spoke out about your concern for Kerry's children, which is a reaction that was echoed nationwide.

Now Kerry has spoken out to defend herself and reassure her fans that she has moved on from those dark days.

The mum-of-four said: 'Some of you may have seen Kerry And Me which aired last week. It was filmed five months ago and I was so unwell at the time and in such a bad place in my life. I don't even know who that woman was - it's so far away from the person I am now.

'My kids are my number one priority. I want a better life for them and I would never hurt them in any way because they're my life.

'I have got my second chance and I'm not going to let anything happen ever again and I'm never looking back. I'm doing what is best for my children and me, and I'm back in control of my life.'

The 29-year-old also thanked the public for their supportive messages and for giving her a second chance.

Kerry promised: 'I won't let you down.'
