Kerry Katona – is there anything this woman hasn’t done?
With enough tabloid headlines to last a lifetime, the reality TV star has come clean over her drug use - and admits leaving ex Mark Croft saved her life.
Talking in a documentary for next week, she claims: 'If I'd stayed with Mark I would have been dead.
'The next time you'd have seen me would have been at my funeral.'
The reformed 30-year-old also reveals she only stayed with Mark because she was terrified he would expose her drug addiction, and that she would use more in the hope Mark would beg her to stop.
She continued: 'I'd go OTT on the drugs, hope that he would go, "Kerry, stop, that's enough," but he didn't.'
'I needed someone to stop me and I was trying to push Mark to prove how much he loved me by saying, 'Look Kerry, you've got f****** kids out there. I knew that I was doing wrong.'
Kerry also admits she cannot remember four years of he children’s lives because of her drug abuse and claims she used to beg Croft to go to rehab with her – but he refused.
She said: 'I don't think Mark ever did want me.'
'I feel so ashamed and embarrassed because I've lost four years with the kids, spending time with them.
'I wish I could've done something about it sooner, but when you're in love and you want that family unit, it's just really hard.
It was only until this February Kerry finally took control and decided to leave the drugs behind – and Mark with them.
But by this time Kerry had already been declared bankrupt. Despite earning millions, Kerry blames being so drugged up on prescription drugs for her bi-polar disorder that she had no idea what was going on with her money.
Kerry added: ‘I was like, you know what, I have to start looking after myself because if I don’t look after myself, who’s going to look after my kids. And the life I’m leading, I’ll be dead.’
Instead the star will be appearing in Dancing on Ice this January and has her DVD Kerry Katona: Real Fitness hitting the shops in December.

i dont think she can blame the drug taking on mark and try to make out she was doing it for attention! i thought she was into drugs before she met him??
on a different note i dont think its right that she can promote a fitness dvd when she has had surgery to loose weight! its setting an unrealistic goal and is false advertising like make up adverts where the models have been airbrushed and have fake eyelashes on!

Kerry is pathetic. Just another uneducated 'wannabee' who does not do anything for the street-cred of petes management team!
Who cares about poor bancrupt kerry? She still manages to lead a life of luxury compared to the rest of us!

ahhh boo hooo! poor old me! blame everybody but yourself kerry thats what all druggies do! its your fault it always has been and it always will be! to me life is like driving a car, your in control so you judge what is a safe route, a safe speed, ect, the bottom line (pardon the pun) is dont blame others for your car crash of a life. bless her fancy being backrupt and still not having to work a real job. im just wondering when "kerry comes industrial strength clean" will come on TV
