She admitted feeling “relieved” after being kicked off Dancing On Ice, but Kerry Katona is now feeling upset that her hotly anticipated TV comeback seems to have failed to turn her fortunes around.

And Kerry, 30, has confessed to pals that she’s envious that her pal, Peter Andre, 37, is still a bigger name than she is.

Kerry and Pete share the same manager – and pals say Kerry is hurt that he is getting more attention because of his relationship with Elen Rivas, 36.

A pal tells Closer: “Kerry threw a bit of a tantrum over the fact that Pete gets more attention than she does.

“She’s been asking people how much Pete and Elen have been getting paid for giving interviews.”

Meanwhile, sources say that single Kerry has recently been in touch with married personal trainer Kevin Green, 30, who she met at the GI Jane bootcamp.

Closer reported in January that the pair had kissed last year, and his wife Sarah recently told a newspaper that she was naming Kerry in their divorce papers, although the star has denied she is responsible for the marriage breakdown.

And now she’s free from the gruelling rehearsals for DOI, Kerry hopes that with more time on her hands, things will work out between her and Kevin.

The pal reveals: “Kerry has been in constant contact with Kevin. They’ve been having regular phone calls to keep the spark alive.

“That’s one of the reasons she’s a bit relieved to be off DOI – she was p**sed off that she couldn’t meet Kevin whenever she wanted to.

“She knows she needs to toe the line if she wants her career to take off and make money again, but she was desperate for secret meetings with him.”

Mum-of-four Kerry admitted last month that she was an “emotional wreck” due to the gruelling training sessions on the ice and “hurtful” comments she received from DOI judge Jason Gardiner, who said she was a “torture to watch.”

After being voted off, she said: “I’m kind of relieved, the tension backstage is really hotting up.”

Last week, Kerry was shocked to learn that her ex-husband Mark Croft, 40 – who last year pledged to get custody of their children Heidi, three, and Max, two – failed a recent drugs test after taking cocaine on Boxing Day.

In April last year, Kerry confessed in an interview that she’d, “lie in bed for three days in a row doing cocaine with Mark,” adding: “Our relationship was all about coke.”

So .... whats the next step then Kerry? could it be that you'll get yourself a man (though preferably NOT someone else's man) and then make sure youre photographed with him a million times. You know it would be REALLY great if you could get yourself a FAMOUS man coz that would get you even more coverage. Problem is, I don't think anyone famous would touch you with a ten foot barge pole and that's why you've got d*ck heads like Mark whatshisname and this new idiot Kevin twathead who are only with you for their ten minutes of fame. Do yourself a favour Kerry and get yourself a decent man and settle down into a normal life with your family. It is possible!

i don't believe any of that i would of thought that Kerry would be grateful for any good publicity she has got after her car crash life. Kerry is good friends with Pete so why would she be jealous of him. I just hope she keeps on the right path for her and the kids sake.

Anyone who becomes rich and famous on the back of their private life are a joke. There are enough people out there with real talent who will never make the money or get the recognition Kerry Katona gets. Its a joke. Get a real talent, then come back and moan.

God she is sooooooo needy! Why can't she function without a man in her life? She needs to concentrate on 'Damage Limitation' with her poor children instead of her sordid, scummy sex life - where were these four children when she was lying in bed for three days comatose? - Hasn't she done enough damage with her tragic choice of partner in the past?
I live near Warrington, where she is obviously reviled as a total embarassment...

i totally agree with you sdfsdf, although the last time i made a comment on closer regarding Ms Katona's total disregard for her children the slating i got you'd have thought she had just won a "mother of the year contest". Maybe it was a relative or friend who replied to me! Anyhoo, i honestly think its about time she (a) realised that motherhood comes before fame (b) stopped whining about not having a man in her life and (c) spend some QUALITY time with her children without t.v. cameras poking around in her every orifice!

Well perhaps it's because he isn't a coke snorting, husband stealing, lowlife who has no respect for herself or her poor children ... maybe people aren't interested in her car crash life because they think she should have appreciated what she had and made the most of it, rather than throwing everything away on that waste of space, drug-dealing, scumbag she married. Ever thought THAT might be the reason, Katona? You really are a shallow, stupid woman!

But also the fiasco of Dancing On Ice which they claim was a PR stunt from hell and the mistakes of linking her romantically with just about anything in trousers on the show, to hide her relationship with a married man, which they are now trying to cover by keeping her out of the spot light in the hope that the bad feelings felt by the British public towards Katona subside, Can Associates Limited are a unique company, offering celebrity management, a PR team, a photography company and a TV production company, all in-house.
So what can anyone expect, the staged pictures taken by the so called paparazzi that are in fact taken by CAN photographer’s and then sold to the papers, the continued story’s of complete fiction which they prepare for the gullible public to rush out and buy.
In some ways I feel sorry for Kerry Katona If you have watched her reality TV shows then you'll see her swing from one end of the emotional scale to the other in roughly 30 seconds. She’s madder than a box of frogs. And instead of the real help she needs once again she is sent to the CAN in house therapists to sit in a car in what can only be described as a take out from Back To The Future, my god she should be cared for by real health care professionals, perhaps CAN are unaware of the great risk that they are placing her, but then there’ll make there money mad or not dead or alive make’s no odds in the make believe show biz world of CAN

Sorry Kerry, but you and only you made your life, you had everything going for you, but, you are the one that shot you in the foot, why upon why you get all these chances, heaven knows, you should be more than grateful, now you should just get on with life bringing your children up.

Reading the above information i still feel no pity for that woman because any woman who can lie in her bed for 3 days snorting cocaine whilst someone else cares for her children is a complete and total waste of space and i'm sure those children were subjected to other attrocities we are not privy to. There are plenty of women out there who would do anything to have children, cherish and love them. Instead of being thankful for the life she was given, she chose to destroy it. Isn't it about time she took responsibility for her life instead of expecting opportunities to land on her lap! Go get yourself a proper job Kerry and see what its like to work hard for your children!
