"Kerry Katona wrecked my marriage!"

Kerry Katona finds herself in the midst of yet another bitter divorce. This time she’s not the one doing the divorcing, the 30 year old Dancing on Ice star who has been married twice has been named as the reason for a Portsmouth couple’s marriage ending.

Sarah Green, the woman accusing Kerry, is a mother of three herself and claims that her marriage to fitness instructor Kevin was perfect until he met Kerry at a military boot camp.
She tells The Mail on Sunday:‘I am only getting divorced because of Kerry Katona and I want people know that.’

Kevin Green, 32, a former marine who also works part-time as a fitness instructor, was introduced to Kerry last January when he agreed to help out at a weight-loss boot camp course in Kent.

At the time Kerry was still married to her second husband, former minicab driver Mark Croft.The reality TV star and ex Atomic Kitten had enrolled on the £1,100-a-week G. I. Jane Bootcamp for a fortnight as part of a magazine deal to document her weightloss.

Sarah Green claims that her husband began his work with Kerry hating her but that his opinion on her changed dramatically throughout the week. She went on to tell the Mail that last January, her husband went to Kent to spend a long weekend at the boot camp. Sarah says: ‘Normally Kevin would call me every day for a chat and to speak to the children, but I didn’t hear from him once.’ On his return he told her that he was having doubts about their five year marriage and that he was heading to Wales to do some work and clear his head. Sarah reveals that her husband didn’t contact her until the following weekend when he returned and told her their marriage was over.

The couple who married in Portsmouth and lived on a naval base had a last ditch attempt to save their marriage when Sarah discovered that Kevin was leaving her for star, Kerry. She tells of how her husband apologised via text message. At the time that Sarah says she found out, Kerry’s marriage to minicab driver Mark Croft was also on the brink of collapse as rumours of her relationship with Kevin began circulating.

Kerry, who was crowned Queen of the Jungle in 2004 after winning I’m a Celebrity. Her luck went downhill from there though, her first marriage to Bryan Mcfadden ended as well as loosing her £130,000 contract as the face of frozen-food firm Iceland after being filmed taking drugs in the bathroom of her Warrington home. The 30 year old mother of four allegedly admitted to  kissing Kevin according to The Mail but insists the relationship didn’t develop any further because they were both married. She said in a magazine interview last April: ‘I kissed Kevin, but not passionately, and nothing sexual ever happened between us.

Despite this, Sarah claims to have received text messages she believes were intended for Kerry.  She filed for divorce last October citing Kerry as the reason.  In an interview with The Mail on Sunday she said: “But I wouldn’t be going through this is if Kerry hadn’t been so selfish. I am a private person and a mother but it makes me so angry to see Kerry Katona being portrayed as a survivor and victim when she ruined my life.’


Kerry’s lawyers have since written to the Mail on Sunday insisting she was not to blame for the break down of the Green’s marriage.
