Now Kerry wants to star in Benidorm

After her MTV show was axed and her lucrative Iceland contract came to an involuntary end earlier this year, Kerry Katona was said to be worried sick about her income - or lack thereof.

With tax bills to pay and husband Mark's  rather expensive collection of motorbikes and super cars to maintain, the mum-of-four found herself in a career dead-end of spectacular proportions after 'cocaine-gate'.

But now Kezza is said to be in talks with the producers of TV programme Benidorm about a potential starring role.

Kerry, 28, thinks she would fit in perfectly in the ITV1 comedy about Brits behaving badly on holiday and hopes an appearance on the popuar show could rescue her - let's face it - dying career in showbiz.

The award-winning Benidorm is now in its' third series and stars Johnny Vegas as part of a group of misfit Brits on holiday in the Spanish resort. With a history of boozy bust-ups and her love of a late night kebap, we reckon Kerry might have a point.

A pal said: "Acting is something she has always wanted to do. She's been through a lot in the last twelve months and she thinks being an actress will be a new beginning for her."

Well she wouldn't have to act in it would she!!...& people would just get confused & think its another one of her chavvy tv shows!

Well surprise surprise. Everything about her screams chav! She wouldn't be out of place in Benidorm. Full of tacky people on tacky hen and stag do's! It would be right up her street! She actually chose Magaluf as a holiday destination this year! Again, another suitably tacky place. Perfect for her!

I know it sounds pretentious and I also know that Spain beats the UK hands down but benidorm is nothing but a sunny Blackpool! And Iwouldn't go to Blackpool if someone paid me! Bloody Benidorm! Its full of nasty cafes offering "belly buster brekkies" and dare I say it clarabella "stinking kebab shops!"
The clientelle think its acceptable to wear a union jack t shirt! The reason the show Benidorm is made is because it wants to highlight the sort of wierdo's that go there! Kerry will fit right in!

i love the show it makes me laugh because its all true,ive been to benidorm (when i was younger) and it was the funniest holiday i spent the whole time just looking at all the chavs in the brittish bars,lol i wouldnt reccomend it,
kerry would fit in but she cant act for toffee benidorm dosnt have what i would call an all star cast but i would turn it off if she stared in it,she winds me up with her "ive got bipolar so im aloud to act like a compleat twat" attitude.
she got dropped by island,her MTV show got cancelled and all for a good reason,knowbody whants to see the chav.
please dont spoil a funny show by putting her in it.

Another bloody so-called celeb, that thinks acting is an easy option. The people who 'star'on stage and screen have gone through years of training to do thier job properly and to earn an equity card. For goodness sake DO NOT PUT HER IN THE SHOW !! I for one have never been to Benidorm , but the show is really funny.

PLEASE NO!!!!! Please do not put her in Benidorm it will make the show a laughing stock (in a bad way) Although i truly doubt she would be able to act as all she does is babble and not make much sense at every public appearance. If you are reading this Kerry, concentrate on getting your bi-polar under control and on your children, ditch that complete leech you call a husband and have some self worth. You would be much better thought of.
Considering Kerry Katona for any acting roll is surely sentencing the programme/film to death.

She wouldn't need to act, she is pretty good at being a brain-dead drunken slapper anyway. Why doesn't she just sell the mansion and car/motorbike collection and other belongings to pay her debts? Why is she kidding herself by clinging on to the lifestyle she can no longer afford?

She'd just look bloody stupid and bugger up an excellent programme! It'd be excruciating like watching an extended version of one of those cringeworthy Iceland ads (well as was!) LOL
She probably thinks that she could play a part like the fantastic Sheridan Smith (2 pints of Lager....) - however as has been said above, she wouldn't be acting and probably doesn't realise the comedy timing etc needed by such brilliant actors!
BTW How good was Sheridan Smith in the latest series??? LOL x

oh yeah I guess none of you have ever made any mistakes at least she is trying to sort her mess out!! come on lets not kick her while shes down she doesnt need it and I bet you could all think of something nice to say about her give her a break.

I actually think the Benidorm show has been shite this time!!
