‘I’m not airbrushed – I work hard for my body!'

They were recently accused of airbrushing their famous curves, but the Kardashian clan happily showed off their natural bikini bodies on holiday in the Dominican Republic last week.
Kim and sisters Kendall, Kylie and Kourtney were joined by parents Bruce and Kris Jenner, brother Rob and Kourtney’s boyfriend Scott Disick on the trip to film scenes for their reality TV show.
And 5ft 2 Kim wowed onlookers with her toned size 8 figure, telling pals: “I work hard for this body, I don’t need to be airbrushed!”
To keep her figure Kim, 31, attends 90-minute boot camp classes five or six times a week in LA, as well as regular 90-minute yoga sessions. She’s also the face of QuickTrim – an extreme seven-day plan that involves using meal-replacement shakes and following a sugar-free diet. The star, who even had an X-ray on her reality show to disprove rumours she’d had buttock implants, Tweeted last month: “I’ve been trying to change my bad eating habits – slow process, but it’s working. I feel so much better! Sugar, dairy & gluten free. HARD!
“I will have sweets every once in a while & dairy, but this is a huge step for me! It’s a lifestyle change, but I’m loving it so far!”
A source says: “Kim found it hard to live without her treats, but she’s a perfectionist. She always steps up her workouts before holidays. Her body is her career, it’s earned her millions, so she takes very good care of herself.”
Mum Kris, 56, was also thrilled to show off her size 10 figure, after a pre-holiday diet and fitness regime.
Insiders say 5ft 6 Kris was determined to get back in shape after breaking down on camera last summer because she was uncomfortable with her body. In an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, she told the camera: “I just feel really, really bad, because I don’t really feel good about myself… I just don’t feel good about my body.”
But she overhauled her look before Kim’s doomed wedding to Kris Humphries in August, having a £35K facelift and sticking to the “80/20 rule” diet – eating healthily 80 per cent of the time.
The diet, combined with strength training, cardio and Pilates with celeb trainer Gunnar Peterson, saw her lose over a stone in two months, going from a size 12-14 to a 10-12. She now uses a portion-controlled meal delivery service.
A pal says: “Kris was desperate to peel back the years – she felt old, fat and shown up by her daughters. Before Kim’s wedding, she shaped up and spent a fortune on her face. Now she regularly works out with Kim and they have massages and facials together.”
Kris said last summer: “I have stuff around the middle now…As I get older, I only do what my body can handle. As long as I’m doing something, I’m staying ahead of the game.”
She added: “I tell [the girls]: ‘One of these days, you won’t be 30 with these cute little bodies.’”
Meanwhile, six-months-pregnant Kourtney, 32 – who’s already mum to son Mason, two, with boyfriend Scott – showed off a neat baby bump after admitting she’d found pregnancy harder the second time around. Kourtney said last week: “I had a little more morning sickness. I think it’s a little bit harder being pregnant when you have a toddler… Last time, I could nap more.”
And speaking to Closer in February, 5ft 3 Kourtney, who has so far gained close to 1½st, revealed: “There’s no way I’m working my ass off – you need time to let your body rest.”
A source says: “This pregnancy has been more emotionally draining. Kourtney thinks the weight has all gone on to her bottom, but she’s relaxed about the weight gain – she’s relieved about not having to worry about being on a diet or working out.”
Sister Khloe, 27, was absent from the trip, as it was revealed last week that she and husband Lamar Odom would be moving back to LA after basketball player Lamar was released from his team in Dallas. She also revealed last week that Kris keeps the sisters motivated to stay in shape, saying: “Listen, my mum believes in us more than we believe in ourselves. But she’s also our manager and trying to protect our brand. She’ll say: ‘Oh – you’re a little too fat right now.’”
