Monday 14 March 2011
Charitable Lady Gaga has launched a charity effort to help out the people in the earthquake and tsunami stricken Japan.
After the news was broadcast on Friday, the superstar immediately took to twitter to announce her cause.
She tweeted that she designed a prayer bracelet that people can buy for $5. All proceeds will go to the Tsunami Relief Efforts. She urged her fans that she fondly calls her “little monsters” to support and buy the bracelet.
“Little Monsters, show your support for Japan with this ‘We Pray for Japan’ wristband! Choose your price to add an additional donation with your wristband.”
The white bracelet has “We Pray for Japan” inscribed in red, in both English and Japanese. It also contains an image of a claw, Lady Gaga’s signature.
If you would like to purchase a wristband, head over to Lady Gaga’s official site. The wristband will ship on March 25.
