Mark Wright hits out at ex-fiancé Lauren Goodger, calling her ‘boring’ after she claims they were still seeing each other up until May this year.
The former TOWIE star ended his relationship with Lauren – whom he had been on and off with for over ten years – over a year ago but it looks as though things are far from amicable between the pair.
26-year-old Lauren claimed that she and Mark had been frequently talking up until two months ago, calling it a ‘secret life’ in an interview with a British magazine this week.
She explained that the pair got back in contact after he texted on her birthday, writing 'Happy Birthday. I'm thinking of you always.'
She said: ‘Until about two months ago, we were still speaking to each other quite a lot, but it gets confusing because we weren’t officially back together again, so we’re going our separate ways now. It’s for the best.’
When asked if they were meeting up, she answered: 'Yeah, quite a bit. I don't want to go into too much detail, but I think now I can say. No one knew and it was silly. It was a secret life.'
But Mark, obviously outraged, took to his Twitter page to vent his anger.
‘What absolute made up b******t by Lauren in today’s New Mag, I’m so bored of it, get over it & stop talking about me 2 get yourself press!!’
Lauren then took to her twitter page, replying: ‘Things sometimes seem to be read wrong until read properly..#twisted #overit #nohardfeelings #Happy #Happy4you xx’
Adding: ‘Sometimes it really shows age.Immaturity and quite sad.Having really good business day with @Laurens_Way again my life will go on #WomenPower’
The pair split in 2011 when Mark claimed that Lauren had cheated on him. A friend said at the time: 'Mark found out Lauren had been cheating on him with another guy and she was kissing and getting close to him at Aura nightclub on Weds evening while Mark was in Marbella.'
