Lauren Goodger shows off her weight loss in front of ex, Mark Wright

Despite recently revealing that she will ‘always love’ her ex Mark Wright, Lauren Goodger has made no secret of the fact that she has moved on. However, it must have been a little awkward when the pair – who split up in August 2011 after ten years together – bumped into each other at The Inspiration Awards for Women on Wednesday night.
Lauren showed off her curves in a purple bodycon dress at the annual event, which raises money for Breakthrough Breast Cancer. The 25-year-old lost 9lbs during a four-day detox at a retreat in Majorca last month and was obviously keen to show off the results in front of ladies man Mark.
She teamed her dress with some open toe stilettos, a patent black clutch bag and her signature pout – which she recently updated with the use of permanent lipliner.
Former King of Essex Mark looked debonair in a three-piece navy checked suit, finished off with his slick back hair and cheeky grin.
The TOWIE star has always admitted that she has found it difficult to get over her childhood sweetheart. Last month, Lauren said in an interview: “I'll love Mark for the rest of my life and I'll never forget sharing so much with him, but I'm moving on.”
She added: “I'm surprised [Mark] hasn't been in touch in the last couple of weeks but, deep down, I'm sure he just wants me to be happy.”
The event was held at Cadogan Hall in Chelsea and saw the like of ballroom dancer Brendan Cole and his wife Zoe Hobbs, Celebrity Big Brother star MC Harvey and Frank Lampard’s former lover Elen Rivas all in attendance.
