LeAnn Rimes enters rehab for anxiety and stress to become 'the best woman I can be'

LeAnn Rimes has voluntarily entered rehab for anxiety and stress, just a day after turning 30.
Rimes' representative, Marcel Pariseau, has confirmed the news saying in a statement: 'LeAnn has voluntarily entered a 30 day in patient treatment facility to cope with anxiety and stress'.

LeAnn, who turned 30 on Tuesday, spoke to an American website before entering the treatment programme, telling them, 'This is just a time for me to emotionally check out for a second and take care of myself and come back in 30 days as the best 30-year-old woman I can be.
'All the things in my life will be there when I get out, but you know what? I'm hoping they're not going to affect me as much. I'll have the tools to know how to deal with them.'
Her regularly updated twitter page gave no glimpse of LeAnn's anxieties, the star has spent the last month celebrating her upcoming 30th birthday and has shared an array of snaps of days at the beach and night out partying.

LeAnn has been in the spotlight since leaving husband of seven years, Dean Sherement, and starting a relationship with actor Eddie Cibrian who she married in 2011. Eddie left his wife Brandi Glenville, the mother of his two children, for Rimes.
LeAnn has admitted to the affair but claims it only occurred because she did not know any better.

She has also endured ongoing speculation about her weight after regularly posting pictures of her slim frame.
In a recent interview with an American news website the singer explained how she felt about the milestone birthday; I’m so ready for my 30s! This decade is going to be the best yet. I’m so content and not depressed at all about it. I can’t slow it down, so I’m embracing it.
She went on ' I feel healthier, more grounded and self-confident at 30 than I ever have.'
