Leona Lewis to launch clothing line
Monday 23 November 2009
Leona Lewis is set to launch her own range of clothing, it was reported today.
She wouldn't be the first celebrity to launch a clothing line, but Leona is putting an eco-friendly spin on fashion with a collection that is 100% animal-friendly.
And vegetarian Leona is said to be collaborating with high-fashion designer Stella McCartney, who designs respectable vegetarian clothes, for the range.
The news came after Leona and Stella were spotted chatting during an after-party for the charity event Children In Need this weekend.
“Leona and Stella got on famously. They are both vegetarians, don’t wear leather and are huge animal lovers. The line would be very animal-friendly,” a source at the party said.
24-year-old Leona has also traded in her Hackney home for a £1.8m mansion in Los Angeles, complete with four bedrooms, four bathrooms and a swimming pool.
She snapped up the A-List house in September, despite rumours that she didn't feel at home in Hollywood.
We know where we'd rather be in December!
Would you buy Leona's line? Do you wear leather and fur?
