Poor Lindsay Lohan!
The actress is not having the easiest of times right now, pining for ex-girlfriend Sam Ronson and with her father Michael keeping the world press informed about her many troubles in almost hourly updates.
So she certainly didn't deserve to have a cruel joke played on her that left the 23-year-old fearing for her life!
Poor Lindsay was left in tears after a stranger pointed a fake gun at her in Morrocco and pulled the trigger - the Mean Girls star thought it was real and broke down crying when she realised it actually was a sick prank.
She tweeted: "I was walking with the security guard & some guy was following me, then pulled up in his car & pointed a GUN at me!
"I was on the phone with my mum & I screamed and ducked & the guy started laughing & pushed the trigger & it was a fake gun. I was crying... he scared me."
Lindsay also hit out at her estranged father after he told the press that he fears for his daughter's life and alleged that the actress is addicted to prescription drugs.
Lindsay wrote in an emotional statement: "My father is a lunatic and doesn't even deserve such a title since he's never been around in my life other than when he'd threaten me and my family.
"He should be where he has always put himself after verbally abusing and physically abusing people all my life - behind bars."
Sounds like poor old Linds needs a break...

She's not alone in her fears, some of these fake guns are so realistic it's ludicrous which is why shop assistants, bank tellers etc all held up at gunpoint go through terror not knowing if the guns real or not!! Question: What the hell was the bodyguard doing leaving her that close to danger - what if it HAD been a real gun hm?!
Poor Lindsay, I'm not a fan but you have to admit with her father selling his story of her minute actions, true or not, you'd feel like thumping him (at least!) to get him to shut up!! I understand he's in arrears on child support for the younger kids though and since he's now getting paid, mum Dina is going after him legally as well as Lindsay herself who's applied or applying for a protective order against him! Her younger sister is going to be getting one too!! You'd think this ex jailbird would have the sense to shut up - if he really cared about his daughter he wouldn't be constantly selling stories on subjects he has no real idea about since he's not actually in her life anymore by her choice!!
