Louis Walsh snubs rival show The Voice

Oh, we love Louis Walsh. Not only is he as adorable as the Andrex puppy but he's not one to hold back on his opinions and it makes some fantastic TV.
And so, were we surprised when Louis came out to confess what he really thinks of rival talent show The Voice? The X Factor judge said that he 'hates' it and called the programme 'dull and boring'.
'I’m so glad that Britain’s Got Talent is beating The Voice,' he said.
'I think everyone thought The Voice UK would be like the US version, and it’s not. It’s dull and boring,' he says. 'I’m glad BGT is winning the ratings battle – it’s much better.'
Louis also thought he'd have a bit of a dig at Will.i.am. Actually, he went off on a right old rant...
'What’s that man’s real name anyway? It’s not will.i.am, is it?
'The way he dresses at his age… what’s that silly glove all about?'
'He thinks he’s got all the answers, but if he didn’t have Fergie in that band, where would he be? Fergie is the real star. I would love her on The X Factor, and to be a judge on the show.'
Asked by the magazine if he would be interested in ditching the X Factor for The Voice, he replied: 'No way, it’s not great TV – it’s like Fame Academy all those years ago.
'The best thing about it are the revolving chairs, and once you’ve seen that, the novelty wears off.'
He adds: 'The X Factor is the biggest show on TV and the other shows are just copying us with their silly chairs. Simon Cowell is the king of TV, and if he’s not involved then it’s not good.''Having Simon on any panel has an impact on ratings. Look at American Idol – it’s lost half of its viewers now Simon’s not there – people want to watch him.
'I wish he’d come back to The X Factor.'
Commentating on rumours that Dannii Minogue is returning to the panel, Louis said that he doesn't think the recent revelation of her affair with Cowell will halt plans.
'She didn’t know the book was coming out, so she was upset,' he said, 'but it won’t stop her coming back – Simon’s not on the panel.'
'They were always very flirty and there was always chemistry between them.
'I remember thinking at the time that Simon was always staring at her chest. His eyes would always be on her tits, never anywhere else.'
Ooh-er, tell it how it is then Louis.
