Lucy Mecklenburgh and Mario Falcone show off toned bodies

Monday 23 July 2012

Wouldn’t life be so much easier if we could all tuck into burger and chips and still have washboard abs like Lucy Mecklenburgh?

The TOWIE star was snapped treating herself to the meal moments before filming scenes for the ITV2 reality show with her  fiancé, Mario Falcone.

 Lucy Mario big

While we are used to seeing Lucy dressed up in tight fitting dresses and plenty of jewellery, she managed to pull off a more casual look in cycling shorts and a crop top as she headed to an Olympics themed party yesterday.

Mario and Lucy have had a busy week, which saw them celebrate their engagement at a party last Wednesday.

And in true TOWIE style their was a huge bust up on the evening.

The Only Way is Marbs special episode in June saw Mario, 24, getting down on one knee on a boat, and Lucy saying yes.

But not everyone was happy for them. Sam Faiers said she’d heard rumours about Mario cheating on his new fiance, and was swiftly banned from their party.

And last night the sixth season premiered with a bang when Mario and Lucy turned the tables on Sam, accusing her of cheating on boyfriend, Joey Essex.

TOWIE fight

When Sam approached Lucy and Mario outside the party about rumours of Mario's infidelity - as reported in a magazine last week - the TOWIE ladies fired harsh words at each other with Lucy insisted her fiancees indiscretion had happened months ago and she knew.

The slanging continued when Mario ranted to Joey: “I heard things about you in Ibiza” before telling Sam “And I heard things about you in Vegas.”

Mario went on to tell Sam that he had seen incriminating photos of her in Faces nightclub. Lucy then shouted to Joey and Sam: “Thanks for ruining our engagement party.”

Lucy upset

The newly engaged couple headed back inside, as Joey cryptically called the couple “a pair of Capri-suns.”

Sam, who denied any cheating rumours, said: “I’ve not come to ruin your engagement party.” To which Mario responded to his fiance: “I’ll get those pictures trust me. I’ll bring those two down.”

If the first episode is anything to go by, looks like this season is set be a relationship roller coaster and just as eventful as the last.
