Mario Falcone walks out on fiancée Lucy Mecklenburgh during dramatic dinner date

Thursday 11 October 2012

In a heated bust up during last nights episode of TOWIE, Mario Falcone told his fiancée Lucy “I’m done” after she admitted she doesn’t trust him and isn’t ready for marriage.

The TOWIE couple have had their fair share of ups and downs since getting engaged in Marbella in June following a rocky one-year relationship.

Already having split and reconciled last year, could this really be the end for the Essex pair?

The couple’s relationship seems to be hanging by a thread after Mario walked out on Lucy while they dined in a restaurant in last night’s episode.

The recent problems arose when Mario, 24, began confronting Lucy, 21, about their marriage plans.

Mario said: 'Every time you talk about the wedding you say you're too young.

'You're more negative than you are positive and you're not ready to do it.'

Lucy replied: 'You know my opinion bub, I loved when you proposed to me. But every time someone asks me, I want to change the subject.'

Mario bluntly responded: ‘I don't want to be engaged then.'

Feeling awkward Lucy asked her fiancé to get her a glass of wine so she could gather her thoughts.

When he returned, she explained: 'The reasons I'm not ready yet, age is one, what people say is two, and three I don't 100% trust you.

'And it just doesn't feel right, it's my gut instinct. They're my reasons.'

Heartbroken Mario simply replied: ‘I’m done,’ storming out of the restaurant.

Mario walks out

'So you text loads of girls and then you put it on me, you f***ing idiot.' An emotional Lucy was heard muttering under her breath.

The conversation was encouraged by Mario’s brother-in-law Tom Fletcher, of pop band McFly. The two met up earlier so Mario could ask for Tom’s relationship advice.

'She's winding me up, and it keeps playing on my mind,' he told the singer. 'She's not getting excited about the wedding at all.

'She's now changed her hair colour, and it's like she is changing. She doesn't care about the wedding.'

TOWIE fight
Lucy's was upset at her engagement party when her friend Sam Faiers brought up the cheating allegations

Tom confidently said: 'The only way to really resolve it is for you to grow some balls and talk to her.'

Lucy’s doubts are most likely triggered by Mario’s unfaithful past. He was caught out in February and April sending inappropriate messages to around 40 other girls. Lucy forgave him and believed the couple were back on track stating: ‘Yes, he did message girls months and months ago but that’s come out and we’ve resolved it.’

Insecure Lucy also revealed that since their engagement fiancé Mario is not allowed to stay in hotels after personal appearances.

‘He hasn’t got rules but we’ve said when he goes away to do personal appearances, he doesn’t stay in hotels – he comes straight home.’

However boutique owner Lucy is not completely innocent and has previously admitted to cheating on Mario with ex-boyfriend Mark Wright, causing the pair to split. But following Lucy’s public apology to Mario, fans were delighted to see the couple get back together.
