Mel B announces pregnancy

There is most definitely a baby boom happening this month isn't there, and there also seems to be something in The Spice Girl's water as Mel B is the latest member to announce her pregnancy.

We've got Emma Bunton due in May, Victoria due in the Summer and now Mel B has confirmed that she's passed the three month stage of pregnancy and is expecting her first child with husband Stephen Belafonte this summer

'We’re really excited. We wouldn’t have planned and waited for four years to have a baby if we weren’t really excited about it and ready for it. Even though you can never really be truly ready,' she told Hello! magazine.

Mel continued: 'The power of wanting a baby, I think, can sometimes just work to your advantage. I didn't think I would get pregnant that quickly.'

The couple began trying for a baby just before Chrsitmas and she became pregnant shortly afterwards.

'We wouldn't have planned and waited for four years to have a baby if we weren't really excited about it and ready for it,' Stephen tells the magazine.

'I promptly got a bottle of Cristal champagne and said, "Baby, enjoy this glass because you can’t drink anymore!" I must tell you, she really enjoyed that glass of Cristal.'
