Motherhood brings Beyoncé back down to earth

She has the world at her feet, a stellar music career, and a hip-hop mogul for a husband, and now, an adorable daughter to cradle. Superstar Beyoncé spoke in a recent magazine interview of just how motherhood has grounded her.
She revealed in the interview: 'I feel more beautiful than I've ever felt because I've given birth. I have never felt so connected, never felt like I had such a purpose on this earth.'
Voted the World’s Most Beautiful woman by the U.S magazine, Beyoncé spoke of a more low-key lifestyle since she welcomed Baby Blue Ivy Carter in to her life, on January 7.
Introducing flats shoes into her wardrobe; missing expensive hair stylist appointment instead choosing to cut her own hair, even Beyoncé’s wardrobe has turned into a comfort haven – albeit a stylish one.
On this transformation, she said: 'I never thought there would be a day when I wouldn't wear heels…'Now that I have a child, I walk around holding her all day I'm buying loafers and oxfords. I love them because they're comfortable and shorter heels too.'
Gushing about her 3-month-old daughter, Beyoncé said: 'The best thing about having a daughter is having a true legacy…'The word "love" means something completely different now.'
On shifting her baby weight, Beyoncé revealed how breastfeeding Blue Ivy for up to 10-weeks after birth has helped her lose the ‘bulk’ of her pregnancy weight, alongside following a strict protein diet and working out for 90 minutes three times a week.
"I'm definitely softer, but I feel my body bouncing back," she said.
We definitely like the transformed, non-diva Beyoncé!
