Nancy Dell'Olio has teamed up with Domestos to produce a guide to 'bathroom etiquette', so we thought we'd grab the opportunity for a slightly odd, five-minute chinwag about hygiene and blokes…
Hi Nancy! So to launch this guide, a Domestos Total Toilet System survey showed 86% of women would ditch a partner with a dirty toilet. Does that go for you too then?
Of course! I can't believe it's only 86%, who wants to date or man or a woman who don't keep their toilets clean? It should be 100%. Absolutely no way for me. Girls spend more time in bathrooms, who wants a dirty toilet? No!
Somehow we can't imagine you in a pair of yellow marigolds though – do you do your own cleaning?
Hygiene is very important to me. I don't clean myself, but I do have the gloves! I have a housekeeper, but I don't do it because I don't know how to and it's important to do it right.
And are you single at the moment? [Nancy was reportedly dating Sir Trevor Nunn until last September]
Yes, I am single at the moment, so people can think about that!
Are you looking for a man? A man with a clean toilet?
Of course they need good hygiene! But no, I'm not looking, because I don't have a lot of time. I enjoy my time, my freedom, my friends. I do have an interesting life and I'd like to have some interruption, but at the same time I'm scared to be completely, fully involved in a relationship because I'm still enjoying my space.
