One Direction head to LA to record their album!

X Factor’s favourite cheeky boyband, One Direction certainly know what direction theyre going in. Zayne, Louis, Liam, Harry and Niall have all flown out to Los Angeles to begin work on their debut album.
The boys have joined fellow contestant Cher Lloyd over the pond to being recording their album whilst winner Matt Cardle and semi finalist Rebecca Ferguson keep themselves busy in studios in the UK. However, they have yet to say who will be helping them with it, Cher has been very vocal about her studio sessions with rapper Lil’ Wayne and spending time with Black Eyed Peas star Will.I.Am.
Louis revealed the groups transatlantic trip on Twitter, saying 'So excited to be in L.A will tweet pictures when I can :) xx'
One Direction better start moving towards that studio pretty quickly, they go on tour with the rest of the X Factor contestants in the next few weeks.
The 30 date tour kicks off on 19 February at the Birmingham LG Arena and ends at Cardiff’s CIA on April 9. Tickets are already on sale from all major retailers.
The shows will feature controversial contestant Katie Waissel, Paije Richardson, Mary Byrne, the marmite like Wagner, Rebecca Ferguson, Matt Cardle, Cher Lloyd and Aiden Grimshaw along with the One Direction boys.
Aiden is said to be on the brink of signing a contract with Simon Cowell’s Syco label, possibly because of the pressure from Twitter on the subject. If he does he will be joining the musical home of winner, Matt, Cher and One Direction.
Rebecca Ferguson is said to be signed to Epic records who also have former X Factor star Olly Murs.
