Pete being investigated by Ofcom

Peter Andre is reportedly being investigated by Ofcom after it was suggested that he promoted brands on his show.

Claims that the singer plugged the airline Emirates and fancy hotel Atlantis Palm resort emerged after an episode of his ITV2 show The Next Chapter documented his enviable holiday in Dubai.

His daughter Princess dressed up as an Emirates air hostess, while shots of the hotel brochure were featured with Pete saying to his kids: "Look at this hotel!"

According to The Sun, ITV has insisted that the footage was "not promotional".

Meanwhile, insiders are apparently saying he paid for the hotel, but one viewer made a complaint.

that hotel was used by danni minouge in the x factor judges houses stage last year and all the contestants were saying how amazing it was etc etc so why wasnt this investigated by them? god some ppl are so sad i wouldnt have even thought of that when watching it!

sugar sweet exactly, it's just stupid to investigate such a thing!! All celebs are flooded with goods to wear, whether it's clothes, jewels or perfumes - they get given Blackberry's, the latest brands and a whole range of items so that people see them wearing or using it!! That's how advertising is done these days and some A listers have walked away from promotions with items worth hundreds of thousands of dollars - they see it as a perk of their job lol!! Pete at least paid for his own hotel - Jordan would have insisted on a freebie lol!!

How pathetic are some people. He was commenting to his kids about how great the place was, the same as everyone does when they go somewhere nice. To be honest I wouldn't care even if he was endorsing the place, I just enjoyed seeing it. Anyway it's irrelivant even he did advertise
it, I'll probably never be able to afford to stay there anyway!
I think some people have far too much time on their hands.
