Pete's emotional return to TV

Life's been a roller coaster ride for Peter Andre since he split from Katie Price just over a year ago - and if you have followed the Aussie singer's efforts to rebuilt his life as a single dad and pop star in the national press, you'll no doubt be excited about the return of his 'fly-on-the-wall' reality TV show.

The second series of Peter Andre: The Next Chapter started last night on ITV2 and followed up on some of the most shocking and surprising moments of Pete's single life.

And episode one sure was a scorcher!

The show picks up as Pete is frantically preparing for his Revelation tour following the platinum success of his post-split album, while playing the doting dad to his two children with Katie Price, Junior and Princess, and Jordan's disabled son Harvey.

The programme shares the moment when Pete has to face the press just minutes after finding out that his ex got married in a quicky Vegas wedding and shows the infamous interview in which Kaye Burley reduces the emotional singer to tears by probing him about his wish to adopt Harvey, and asks how he would feel if new stepdad Alex Reid tried to adopt his own children.

And, of course, there is plenty of footage of the doting father as he plays with his adorable sprogs, Junior, four, and Princess, two. Harvey, eight, is also spending time with the 36-year-old but is not allowed to be filmed for the programme.

So if you love all things Pete, don't miss next week's episode when his alleged affair with his former stylist is revealed!

i dont have as much time for pete as I used to, cos i used to LOVE him, but its the same with KP (although she IS worse)....am sick listening and hearin about them lol.

BUT - YES i did watch it and YES i had a little lump in my throat and YES do think he had every right to be like that. He only wanted to adopt Harvey through LOVE and to give him the father figure that his own children have and while Harveys OWN father takes no interest, I think this is a GREAT gesture for Pete to have made. Not a lot of guys would gladly take on someone elses child, especially with a disability.

I think Pete has a heart of gold where Harvey is concerned and I think Dwight Yorke is down right DISGUSTING!!!!!xx

I agree with your opinion on Dwight York Miss Celtic.

See how things get twisted though? There was a story on here that said Pete had said Kates marriage to Alex was a joke - he didn't, it was on his show, he was told that Kate had just gotten married out of the blue, and his words were "no, it's a joke"........Meaning, is this a joke lol!

yip i do see how things can be twisted, but......i still say half of what is printed about on Jordan IS completely her own doing!!!! She seeks attention, nobody can deny that, its what she thrives on and its what makes her the money she rakes in also lol!!!!

ive just commented on another article and admit, i did actually like her.....until this split.....she just turned into some demented media crazed spineless desperado......she definitely has done herself no justice since her split!!!....and yes i do know what a broken heart does to you lol.....but this attention on her life and the moves she had made since Pete, are just not normal hahahahaha xx

i watched and thought it was brilliant, but cant understand how all of a sudden harvey is not allowed to be filmed, and yet when he and kp were together and she was off having hair done or botox or anything else and she left h with pete she would allow him on camera why now when they are not together he is not allowed to be filmed, prehaps pete should not allow his kids be filmed when she is doing a show. He has always been a good father to harvey more that dwight could ever be, he is just a looser as a father and should not even call himself a dad cause he aint one

Miss Celtic I agree with you 100% about Pete wanting to adopt Harvey out of genuine love for the boy and to give him a father figure to turn to when Dwight Yorke couldn't be bothered to even visit Harvey!! You can only adopt another persons kids though if they give up all parental rights to them - something Pete's never going to do, that question was completely uncalled for at the time!! Dwight it appears has taken to Alex which makes you wonder what they've both got in common apart from Jordan hm? Dwight was just a sperm donor, once Harvey was born (I don't want to believe it's just because he's disabled though) he didn't want to know!!
joey1960 Apparently it's all over Pete having a suitable nanny to cope with Harvey, but that's a crock of shit, if Jordan cared about Harvey's interaction with Pete she would have sent her nanny with him to ensure Harvey wasn't made to feel left out hm?! Yeah, Pete could go to court and have the kids stopped being used for Jordan's show and as models for her kit, the judge would rule that they couldn't appear on either shows though - I'm not sure he'd be unhappy with that though lol!!
JustJill Exactly, things do get twisted don't they hm?! Last week all the gossip mags on the front page had different stories on Jordan, on one she was desperate to leave Alex, on this mag's it's that she was definitely pregnant, another one had her soooo in love lol!!!! Didn't pick up one of them, but as MissCeltic pointed out a lot of this (even if the stories aren't true!) are her p.r people leaking all sorts of shockers so she stays on the mag front page!!

Apparently Katie offered her nanny to Pete, but he declined and wanted to get his own, which I can hardly blame him - as Kates nanny's loyalty will primarily be to Kate, so maybe Pete doesn't feel comfortable having her, I mean it is human nature to snoop and eavesdrop, to perhaps it's for that reason?

But like I say, when I saw Pete speak about Harvey, he did say Kate was cooperating, he just wanted to get his own nanny.
