Pete angry over Princess straightened hair

Uh-oh looks like another brawl between the bitter exes! Peter Andre has hit out at his ex-wife Katie Price after she straightened their daughter Princess's hair, it has been reported.

Three-year-old Princess Tiaamii is known for her naturally wild curly blonde hair, but was recently photographed with straight locks during a trip to the hair salon with her mother and it seems to have got Pete in a bit of a huff…

Having already spoken of his dislike for using irons on his daughter before, Peter admitted that he would prefer Jordan to wait until Princess is older before using straighteners. He wrote in his New! Magazine column: 'There was a photo in the papers of Princess and her mum and my daughter clearly had her hair straightened.

'In my opinion, a three-year-old child shouldn't have her lovely hair straightened.

'If she wants to do it when she's older that's fine. I'd prefer it if her lovely curls were left natural.'

All sounds very familiar, right? Well that’s because the pair were embroiled in a very similar row a year ago when Peter allowed his hairdresser brother to trim his daughters hair.

Jordan wrote on her Twitter page in the early hours of Boxing Day 2009, obviously angry, 'Can't believe that when I got kids back, Princess comes back with her hair all cut short. Soo out of order.'

She then added: 'Pete's brother has cut Princess's hair off. Can't put it in a ponytail. Why would they do that? To prove what point?'

Defending his decision to trim Princess's hair, Andre told OK! magazine a few weeks later: 'That was the most pathetic thing to get brought out into the public domain.

'It was a trim off the ends of her hair, for God's sake. It was so pathetic. My daughter's hair needed a trim, what's the problem?

'The truth is, Princess had come to me a few times with hair straightened by straightening irons, which used to annoy me, so I had to get it trimmed.'

In an interview in November 2009, Price admitted using hair straighteners on her toddler's delicate hair

She said: 'She has naturally curly blonde hair which I straightened recently and it didn't look good - she looked like a little troll.' Nice!


What do you think? Is Pete being a bit over the top or should Jordan never have straightened her hair?

i would be fuming too! little girls should not be doing things like painting nails, straightening hair and putting make up on, people say there is no harm in it but i couldnt disagree more! people do those things to make themsleves more sexually attractive and to make them look prettier, she should be teaching her tha she is beautiful just as she is to install the confidence and self esteem she needs when shes older!

I think they both are being over the top, but that's celebrity publicity for you!

I don't agree with using heat on toddlers fine, natural and healthy hair, and Ms Price really should allow her daughter to keep her innocence and NATURAL beauty as long as possible - one day no doubt, Mum will have a copy of herself made with false this that and the other and the innocence of 'Princess' will be a distant memory...

FFS...............Note to Mr Arsedre .......Pick the phone up matey and have a word with your Ex.........What example are you setting to your children if you cannot even be civil and grown up with matters to do with them poor, poor kids.........HEADF...K, Going on about private family matters on twitter and through magazines...You should be ashamed of yourself.....if you really do care for your childrens privacy and wellbeing then you should keep your family affairs and gripes where they matter and to whom they matter...IDIOT

I agree, can these two not have private conversations about their kids without sharing them with the whole world? I don't think its a good idea to straighten a childs hair, but it should be an issue between the two of them. She did the same thing when Alex had a photo taken with Junior.
Have it out with him not the world! stop using the kids for publicity.

i disagree i think hes entitled to say that he's not happy with his daughter's hair being straightened, if it was me i would want the world to know that this is not okay with me and for people not to think that i was allowing it to happen! i should imagine if he told his ex wife that he didnt want her hair straightened she wouldnt listen anyway so is just avoiding an unnessasary argument!
