She’s famous for her feistiness, rock chick image and sculptured physique but when Pink, 32, gained 55lbs during her pregnancy with her first child in June last year, she was keen to get back into shape. The singer, real name Alecia Moore, admitted in a magazine that after giving birth to one-year-old Willow Sage last June she thought she would ‘feel like a goddess’ but in actuality felt like ‘a mess’.
Yet unlike her celebrity peers, she wasn’t in a rush to get back into shape, preferring not to limit her food intake and instead following a healthy diet and exercise regime.

Pink showed off her toned figure earlier this month
By changing her outlook on life she soon dropped the weight and is now ready to get back on track with her singing career. She just announced a new album which will be released in September, her first in four years. She said: ‘'I've been in mummy mode, and I'm just starting to get back out there into the real world.’
Pink attributes her killer physique to a diet rich in vegetables combined with plenty of exercise. Occasionally she eats chicken and fish but the majority of her meals are vegetarian or even vegan at times. The singer even stuck to her diet when her husband Carey Hart turned 37, celebrating with a vegan extravaganza of tortellini with fava beans, summer truffles, dinosaur kale and red pearl onions.
Her typical exercise routine is two hours long with one-hour of cardio and an additional hour of strength training or yoga. She said: ‘I like feeling strong. It keeps my mental floor higher. Even if it’s a pain in the a** and you hate working out, the endorphins help.’

But Pink, who has an enviable athletic figure, admitted she found shedding the pounds hard. ‘I’m still going’, she said. But at least she has her priorities in line. ‘Honestly, I look at Willow, and I’m like ‘who cares?’ I would have 16 of you and gain 16 times the amount of weight. I don’t care. I let everyone else worry about the silly stuff.’
And she still manages to see the funny side of it all...
‘Hell yeah, I gained 55lbs. I think my baby may be part cheesecake.’
